Stuffed Animal Clothes
Okay, I think it's time to declare the Tiny Wardrobe done, and send Mantis and Pink Penguin back to their family. The fun thing about these is that any given project didn't take more than a day or so. And I tried a lot of new techniques, some of which were more successful than others.

There are a lot of them, so I'm going to link to the slideshow on Ravelry:

Those are awesome.
So... are those two getting married? I notice the last two shots appear to be a wedding gown and a tux!

Apparently so. The tux came first, and then in the List Of More Suggestions, a wedding dress so that they could get married was included. (I think more because tuxes=weddings rather than because of any previous romance between the two.)

At least Mantis is male, so there shouldn't be any immediate post-wedding fatalities.

Wow, yeah, that's a LOT of little animal clothes. Are these for the nieces?

Yup. The animals came back with me after my trip in June, and they have been little fashion plates since then. :)

So much cute! I think my favorites are the ladybug and dragonfly costumes, by which measure the Mantis is winning. :) Is the blue-and-gold for Penguin a parrot costume? It is hard to parse from the front.

The dragonfly is actually meant to be a monarch butterfly. You figured it out - the blue-and-gold is a macaw, but it's isn't really clear; the pose was to show both the blue and the gold, which was otherwise hard to do.

When I texted the macaw costume to my sister, it was actually A. who answered and was texting me back, but she is much MUCH terser than Jess is (not being a fast typer yet), so I had this sudden disconcerting impression that Jess was really annoyed at me, she was so brusque. :)

The wings need spots at the edges! Little white beads, maybe?

Heh. That was cleared up quickly, I hope?
